Humble Guest

New hires who show up ready, with a record of every step.

Onboarding for new behavior technicians at Colorado ABA agencies: the course on their phone, five practice home visits in 3D, and your BCBA’s sign-off. You see every new hire on one screen.

Your first new hire is free. Then $99 for each new hire in your first year, paid once.

Before a real family, they practice in Leo’s house.

Five home visits in 3D, the family in recorded voices. Leo reacts to what they do. A live rating in visits two to four, and a score after every visit.

In the simulation: the hire walks up to the family’s house holding the work phone.
Walk in with the work phone.
In the simulation: Leo comes over and holds out a toy car while the hire holds the work phone.
Play, teach and record.
A visit’s score: each area against the pass mark, and what went well.

Every new hire is a billing risk until they’re trained.

A federal audit of Colorado Medicaid ABA billing, published in February 2026, sampled 100 months of one child’s care each. In 93 of 100, the session notes or visit records didn’t meet the rules.

What each rule requires, and who asks, with sources

Learn. Practice. Prove it.

  1. A lesson card on a phone: Leo covers his ears in the kitchen.

Learn. Short lessons on their phone, read aloud.

  2. From the simulator: a new BT kneels on the rug at Leo’s eye level while he plays with his cars.

Practice. Full sessions in the practice home, scored.

  3. A record of training from Humble Guest, with a code and a QR code to check it.

Prove. A final for each course, then your BCBA signs off.

Your office sees who needs you.

  • Who is on pace, behind, or ready for sign-off.
  • Only the decisions waiting on you.
  • A public page to check any record of training.
The New hires screen for the fictional demo agency: who is in training, on pace, falling behind and ready for sign-off, and the decisions waiting.

One course, and something in it for everyone at your agency.

If you own the agency

Your next new hire is free, so you see it work before you pay. After that it’s $99 a new hire in your first year, paid once, and every new hire ends with a record of training in their name.

If you’re the clinical director

New hires practice the hard parts in Leo’s house before a real family: pairing, prompts, the session note. You watch one real session and sign off.

If you run onboarding

Every new hire on one screen: who started, who’s falling behind, who’s ready for sign-off. No chasing paper, and the records are there when someone asks.

If you’re the new hire

You learn on your phone and practice home visits in 3D before you meet a real family, with 7 days to finish. Your first real visit isn’t your first try.

Try it free on your next new hire. Then $99 a new hire.

You pay once for each new hire you train: $99 in your first year, $149 after. No monthly fee and no minimum. In a month you don’t hire anyone, there’s no new-hire bill.

No card to start. Nothing is charged until your agency’s own space is set up and you can sign in.

What owners and clinical directors ask.

What is the record of training?

It says who completed which course, and when, with a code anyone can check. It is not a credential, it does not replace what the BACB requires for RBTs, and the BACB has not reviewed Humble Guest.

What results do you have?

None yet. No new hire has finished the course. That’s why your first one is free: your own BCBA judges the result.

What does our BCBA do?

Your BCBA watches one real session, ticks a short checklist and signs off. Then someone at your agency presses Clear.

How long does it take?

Each new hire has 7 days from their first sign-in, mostly on their phone.

Does it replace our BCBA or shadowing?

No. Your BCBA still observes and signs off, and a person at your agency clears each new hire. The practice home is where a new hire can get it wrong safely, before a real visit.

How is it billed?

Your first new hire is free. After that, each new hire is $99 in your first year and $149 after. You pay once per person: at the start of each month you get one bill for the new hires you added the month before, and no new-hire bill if you added nobody. You can stop adding new hires, and paying for them, in any month. Yearly trainings for the rest of your team are $39 a person a year, paid when you sign and then once a year, and only if you want them. Nothing is charged until your agency’s own space is set up and you can sign in.

Can several new hires share one sign-in?

No. Each record of training is in one person’s name, with your BCBA’s sign-off for that person. A shared sign-in would give you one record for one name, and nothing for the others.

Who’s behind Humble Guest?

Isaac, the founder, also owns an ABA agency in Colorado. Your agency’s data sits in its own database, and nobody at his agency can see it. When our support tools open it, your admins see when and why.

Is it only for sessions in the home?

It starts there, because a new behavior technician in a family’s home works with the least backup. Clinic sessions aren’t in the course yet.

Which rules does it teach?

Colorado Medicaid’s rules for ABA (Health First Colorado), for sessions in families’ homes, where the course starts. At setup, your agency confirms the training standards the course teaches, and each new hire signs your own policies. Other states and payers need their own rules first.

Is there client data in it?

No. The Garcias are fictional, and nothing in the course or the practice home asks for client information.

Do new hires need a laptop?

For the five home visits in 3D, yes: a laptop or desktop with Chrome or Edge, in a window at least 1000 pixels wide. Progress follows each hire, so one office laptop can serve several, as long as each signs in as themselves. Everything else works on a phone.

We don’t advise on billing eligibility; your billing lead or counsel is the right person.
